Very talented crafter attending Easter Fair at Hadleigh

I'm very pleased to announce we have confirmed booking of 'Butterfly's Upcycled', Louise turns unwanted, tired items into beautiful pieces of craft.  She will be bringing a selections of items with her to the fair including some furniture pieces, I can't wait to see them.  Louise has written a piece about herself and her inspiration...
"Butterfly’s was first started as a hobby during my maternity leave. I have been painting furniture for myself for a few years, but in 2012 I turned it into a full time passion and started juggling family life with Butterfly's as a new thriving business.
The name Butterfly's derives from my love of seeing the transformation and the new life my designs give a previously unloved piece of furniture.
I adore the shabby chic style and it plays a major role in my work. To get this vintage country home feel I use Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint, as it's developed especially for furniture and gives a fantastic aged and worn feel to pieces, especially when used with different waxes. The paint also has an extremely low VOC, so it fits in with the whole environmental outlook of Butterfly's, recycling and upcycling existing pieces. Why buy new when you can re-love the old!
I tend to work with delicate, muted colours such Old Ochre and Country Grey. Subtle shades blend into most modern homes and let the natural grain of the wood still come through. This means my furniture can enhance a variety of decors and compliment your existing furniture beautifully.
Inspiration for my one off pieces comes from designers such as Rachel Ashwell. This influence is reflected in my love of working with wood, raffia and cotton in warm pastel shades such a cream, green and natural browns. The stylist Selina Lake, who adds splashes of vivid colour to her room settings, also inspires me and you can see this with my touches of gingham fabric, lace, butterflies and roses.

I love to undertake individual commissions and I also produce hand decorated country style home decorations, to compliment my hand painted furniture, so you can achieve a complete look for any room with my designs. "

Here are a few items she will bring along to the fair...
