The Easter craft fair is tomorrow.

The Easter craft fair in Hadleigh Town Hall is tomorrow and will go ahead snow or no snow!!  We have a fantastic range of crafters for you to come and meet.  There will be demonstrations for you to watch and pickup ideas and wonderful Easter gifts for you to buy.  The fair will be on from 10am-4pm and 'The Sugar Mill' will be selling beautiful cakes and biscuits, tea and coffee will also be available.

Buttons in Bloom

Buttons in Bloom will be showing their beautiful crafts at the Easter craft fair 
"I have enjoyed sewing for many years but never had the time to really get involved in my hobby. I also love designing and love the vintage look in home crafts, I came up with the name Buttons in bloom unique craft as i adore buttons and i like to make my craft unique so they all differ. For Christmas 2012 my husband bought me a new sewing machine so that is what inspired me."

'Keri-Ann's Artwork' demonstration at the Easter craft fair

Keri is exhibiting her artwork and performing demonstrations at the Easter craft fair in Hadleigh. "I work from photographs to create fine pen pictures with a water wash. My pieces focus predominantly on animals and motorbikes. I embrace the challenge of commissioned work and I am always willing to try something new!"  www.keri-ann-art.co.uk

Nicola Morse Jewellery

'Nicola Morse Jewellery', will be exhibiting at Easter craft fair in Hadleigh

'I design and make my jewellery from polymer clay, copper and other materials. All of my pieces are handcrafted and therefore unique. My inspiration comes from nature and geometric shapes. Also colour, texture and pattern play an important part in my designs.'

'Adele Design', fantastic bright coloured designs.

Adele Design is a bit of an eclectic mix of tradition and fashion with plenty of bright colours.

I find it beneficial to bring together a collage of everything I make by hand, print, sew, crochet, paint, photograph and produce on the computer for a well considered design.

I love working this way simply because I can indulge in, with a purpose, everything handmade.

For my stall I make a variety of products including small designer sketch or scrapbooks, buttons, crochet necklaces, sewn card shapes. I also have badges, bags, postcards and t-cloths which can be used for patchwork or made into aprons. 

I also like to design for children and there is always a good selection of interesting bits and pieces on my stall for them to enjoy. I have put some new things on my Adele Design blog and the Freya's leaf story about my design on my ha-pea handmade blog.

'Vintiquity' are exhibiting at the Easter craft fair in Hadleigh

"I started Vintiquity in August 2012 having fallen in love with a bone china teacup and saucer in an antique shop. I couldn’t resist buying it as it was so pretty and it seemed a shame that such beautiful pieces of vintage china were being disregarded just because they were no longer part of a set.  The china that I had bought was a very pretty pale blue and gold and looked stunning, if somewhat out of place, in my bathroom which had the same colour scheme. I therefore decided to make a candle in the cup and gave it pride of place on the edge of my bath. Everyone who saw it said how pretty it was and before I knew it, I was inundated with requests for teacup candles from friends and soon very busy and happily sourcing more beautiful china. "
